The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, özoğul SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlyas Eymen to maneuver through the defense. After 3 played minutes, Oran's Levent Akdoğu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rasim Yücelay came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oran reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Oran's zone, Abdi Kökşin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Birol Erokay came out of the goal and Abdi Kökşin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Oran got a freekick which was hit by İstemihan Osmanoğlu. 9 minutes into the game, Nuh Kutyan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mustafa Birol Erokay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of özoğul SK booed when Oran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtazer Tekinel didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see özoğul SK's Serhan İmge in action when he in the 25th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 36 minutes into the match, Oran's goal looked a bit too open when Halil İbrahim Ogün came free, but Mustafa Birol Erokay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zekeriya Kerimhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oran's Mustafa Birol Erokay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuh Kutyan in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Halil İbrahim Ogün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Birol Erokay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 45th minute, Abdi Kökşin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Birol Erokay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Zekeriya Kerimhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Mustafa Birol Erokay made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Mustafa Birol Erokay successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. özoğul SK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ahmet Nedim Erentürk in the 55th minute. Abdi Kökşin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Erokay having to interfere. Mustafa Birol Erokay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Kökşin in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Oran booed when özoğul SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halil İbrahim Ogün didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rasim Yücelay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İstemihan Osmanoğlu in the 73rd minute of the match. Zekeriya Kerimhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Birol Erokay having to make a save. After having played for 77 minutes, Abdi Kökşin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. özoğul SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdi Kökşin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Halil İbrahim Ogün fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mustafa Birol Erokay, passed just outside the right post. Necat Ekber kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ediz Kura hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zekeriya Kerimhan got free with Mustafa Birol Erokay in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Halil İbrahim Ogün kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded özoğul SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oran.
