Kamil Korucu came free with the goalkeeper in the 2nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emirşah Kortan could save by the left post. Örnekville's Emirşah Kortan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turan Usluer in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Mazhar Radi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ant Aşkıner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Emirşah Kortan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Örnekville getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ali Numan Kutsalmis hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Turan Usluer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emirşah Kortan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Özil, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Salihli booed when Örnekville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazhar Radi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saadettin İpekli got free with Emirşah Kortan in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Alparslan İlgi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Emirşah Kortan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saadettin İpekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Örnekville's Emirşah Kortan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turan Usluer in the 61st minute of play. Vahit Tüzeman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ant Aşkıner made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turan Usluer in the 67th minute of play forced Örnekville's goalkeeper Emirşah Kortan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Örnekville's goal looked a bit too open when Selçuk Şömel came free, but Emirşah Kortan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Vahit Tüzeman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salihli's Ant Aşkıner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Örnekville's Vahit Tüzeman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ant Aşkıner. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. 81 minutes into the game, Halil İltemur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Ant Aşkıner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Turan Usluer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emirşah Kortan. Örnekville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Turan Usluer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 94th minute Turan Usluer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emirşah Kortan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
