Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kasım Lefter started the match with the kick off. Selçuk Şömel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 5th minute Turan Usluer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nadir Özkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saadettin İpekli came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nadir Özkar could save by the left post. Saadettin İpekli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Nadir Özkar made a huge save. 14 minutes into the game, Salihli's Saadettin İpekli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nadir Özkar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Bülent İlmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salihli's Ant Aşkıner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasım Lefter in the 29th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Ahmet Hamdi Bicanoğlu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Celil Taşcan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes Salihli got a freekick which was hit by Celil Taşcan. After a defensive mix-up in Salihli's zone, Kasım Lefter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ant Aşkıner came out of the goal and Kasım Lefter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nadir Özkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turan Usluer, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Salihli's Ant Aşkıner got control of the ball when Kasım Lefter tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Salihli's goal looked a bit too open when Kasım Lefter came free, but Ant Aşkıner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Turan Usluer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nadir Özkar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When Salihli's Saadettin İpekli in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gerger FK's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Salihli's Turan Usluer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nadir Özkar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Saadettin İpekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Salihli's Alparslan İlgi got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 74 minutes of play Salihli's Celil Taşcan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 74 played minutes Salihli got a freekick which was hit by Celil Taşcan. If Saadettin İpekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nadir Özkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selçuk Şömel, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of Gerger FK booed when Salihli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saadettin İpekli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saadettin İpekli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nadir Özkar having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Saadettin İpekli notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Gerger FK's Nadir Özkar. Nadir Özkar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salihli's Ant Aşkıner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasım Lefter in the 90th minute of play. Nadir Özkar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saadettin İpekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Gerger FK's goal looked a bit too open when Selçuk Şömel came free, but Nadir Özkar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Salihli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
