The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. İzmirTürkGücüFC's Demir Müslim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balaban Altınpınar in the 3rd minute of play. Demir Müslim made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Semail Celilay sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Mehmet Çağrı Mukbil in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by İzmirTürkGücüFC's Koray Ulun. After some careless play in the İzmirTürkGücüFC defense, Semail Celilay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demir Müslim. The İzmirTürkGücüFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demir Müslim should have stopped the shot. Çaykur Rize made a substitution. Fahri Şirzat replaced Mehmet Çağrı Mukbil. Demir Müslim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semail Celilay in the 17th minute of play. İzmirTürkGücüFC's Demir Müslim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semail Celilay in the 17th minute of play. Utku Osmanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fahri Şirzat's late challenge caught a İzmirTürkGücüFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fahri Şirzat helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Çaykur Rize got a freekick which was hit by Fahri Şirzat. Demir Müslim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balaban Altınpınar, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Necdet Kayansel in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demir Müslim, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. İzmirTürkGücüFC's Demir Müslim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semail Celilay in the 35th minute of play. When Utku Osmanoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İzmirTürkGücüFC's protests and gave Utku Osmanoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes İzmirTürkGücüFC got a freekick which was hit by Utku Osmanoğlu. After a rather tough play, İzmirTürkGücüFC's Can Yalaza got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in İzmirTürkGücüFC's zone, Semail Celilay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demir Müslim came out of the goal and Semail Celilay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the game, Semail Celilay lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Demir Müslim. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Semail Celilay made the kick off in the second half. İzmirTürkGücüFC's Demir Müslim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necdet Kayansel in the 53rd minute of play. Demir Müslim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semail Celilay's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Çaykur Rize's Semail Celilay in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 64th minute of the match Ahmet Çağrı Erginalp shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demir Müslim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Demir Müslim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balaban Altınpınar, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Semail Celilay sped through İzmirTürkGücüFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Demir Müslim. Demir Müslim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Semail Celilay's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Semail Celilay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Koray Ulun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balaban Altınpınar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Demir Müslim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to İzmirTürkGücüFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Koray Ulun hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Çaykur Rize had played much better football throughout.
