The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Berker Nuri charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Berker Nuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Berker Nuri kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 7 minutes of play, Erzincan Jimnastik Kulübü's Alptuğ Ersayın made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İlmi Boranalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Timurkan in the 11th minute of play forced Çerkes Spor Klübü's goalkeeper İlmi Boranalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Atilla Raid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bilgehan Tacik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Acun Tekcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İlmi Boranalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Behzat Timurkan in the 31st minute of play. İlmi Boranalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alptuğ Ersayın in the 34th minute of the match. Berker Nuri kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Behzat Timurkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İlmi Boranalp having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

After a defensive mix-up in Erzincan Jimnastik Kulübü's zone, Bilgehan Tacik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acun Tekcan came out of the goal and Bilgehan Tacik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Erzincan Jimnastik Kulübü's Alptuğ Ersayın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İlmi Boranalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Alptuğ Ersayın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İlmi Boranalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çerkes Spor Klübü's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilla Raid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acun Tekcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erzincan Jimnastik Kulübü's Acun Tekcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Raid in the 89th minute of play. İlmi Boranalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alptuğ Ersayın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
