The referee ignored Ghost Eagles's protests and gave Vefa Şerif a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, one of Ghost Eagles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ghost Eagles. The referee gave Kirecburnu a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Demircan Taçyıldız, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ghost Eagles's İbrahim Ethem Aktaşlıoğlu. 0-1. After 8 played minutes Kirecburnu got a freekick which was hit by Gökhun Ergenç. In the 16th minute Dorukhan Gazel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muhammet Açıkalın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Lütfi Tunçöven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gökmen Uzkan struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerimhan Sağlam in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İbrahim Ethem Aktaşlıoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kerimhan Sağlam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İbrahim Ethem Aktaşlıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Gökmen Uzkan sent off a good shot on target. Gökmen Uzkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İbrahim Ethem Aktaşlıoğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 66th minute of the match, Demircan Taçyıldız got a very nice opportunity to score, but İbrahim Ethem Aktaşlıoğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cihan Balkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Muhammet Açıkalın. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zülfikar Kebir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Muhammet Açıkalın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İbrahim Ethem Aktaşlıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerimhan Sağlam, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Ghost Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Basri Satıbey. İbrahim Ethem Aktaşlıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerimhan Sağlam in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ghost Eagles's Zülfikar Kebir got a free kick in the 95th minute. Kirecburnu's Demircan Taçyıldız couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ghost Eagles.
