After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Cüneyt Salikbey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edirne JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cüneyt Salikbey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erkut Tacik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Edirne JK's goal looked a bit too open when Kılıç Turan came free, but İlhan Cevahir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İlhan Cevahir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kılıç Turan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, GODZİLLA JK's goal looked a bit too open when Cüneyt Salikbey came free, but Erkut Tacik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Resulhan Hanecioğlu during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Edirne JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mücahit Sanbay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. GODZİLLA JK's Kılıç Turan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Erkut Tacik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cüneyt Salikbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 32 minutes of play GODZİLLA JK's Resulhan Hanecioğlu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Resulhan Hanecioğlu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Erkut Tacik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akgün Çırak, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cüneyt Salikbey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erkut Tacik having to interfere. When Cüneyt Salikbey came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Edirne JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cüneyt Salikbey couldn't finish the play. If Akgün Çırak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hızır Pekol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cüneyt Salikbey made a kick off. Akgün Çırak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erkut Tacik having to interfere. Mücahit Sanbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GODZİLLA JK's Erkut Tacik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cüneyt Salikbey in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, GODZİLLA JK's Erkut Tacik got control of the ball when Akgün Çırak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Songurhan Durkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edirne JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Songurhan Durkaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erkut Tacik came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Edirne JK's Akgün Çırak. But to his dismay, Akgün Çırak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in GODZİLLA JK's zone, Cüneyt Salikbey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erkut Tacik came out of the goal and Cüneyt Salikbey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind GODZİLLA JK's goalkeeper Erkut Tacik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erkut Tacik made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Akgün Çırak sent off a good shot on target. Hızır Pekol's late challenge caught a Edirne JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hızır Pekol helped the player get up and apologised. Erkut Tacik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akgün Çırak in the 88th minute. If Akgün Çırak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cüneyt Salikbey in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erkut Tacik prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
