Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Özdemir Yuluğ started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kuddusî Kuter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuralp Özguven, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Özdemir Yuluğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirikkale FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özdemir Yuluğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 played minutes KartalTepe SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Ülküm. 11 minutes into the match, KartalTepe SK's Paşa Buyruk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kuddusî Kuter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Kirikkale FK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gürhan Bostan hit a great ball. If Nuralp Özguven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hıdır Mutluer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reha Oker made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Hıdır Mutluer sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Özdemir Yuluğ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kuddusî Kuter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paşa Buyruk's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Özdemir Yuluğ was extremely unlucky when he, in the 37th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 39 minutes, Özdemir Yuluğ made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. KartalTepe SK's Reha Oker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reha Oker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özdemir Yuluğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuddusî Kuter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuralp Özguven in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match KartalTepe SK got a corner. Kirikkale FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Arif Ülküm ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to KartalTepe SK's Kamer Satıbey getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paşa Buyruk to make the kick off. A collision led to KartalTepe SK getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ferid Kutlug hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özdemir Yuluğ in the 58th minute of play forced KartalTepe SK's goalkeeper Reha Oker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Hıdır Mutluer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reha Oker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hıdır Mutluer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hıdır Mutluer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özdemir Yuluğ took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reha Oker. Reha Oker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Özdemir Yuluğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Reha Oker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Özdemir Yuluğ in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reha Oker saved KartalTepe SK from getting behind.
