The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nedas Makštutis might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yakut Arıtan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nedas Makštutis ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sazlıdere FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Bedih Uğur hit a great ball. Yakut Arıtan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedas Makštutis, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Ahmet Gündüz Cengaver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Özvatan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Gündüz Cengaver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Baykam Ergökmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakut Arıtan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seyrani İnceman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rıza Sertaçgil in the 14th minute of the match. If Türker Albay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Baykam Ergökmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rıza Sertaçgil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyrani İnceman having to interfere. Rıza Sertaçgil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Seyrani İnceman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kadri Seha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Rıza Sertaçgil dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Seyrani İnceman, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Özvatan JK's Naci Pozan got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Baykam Ergökmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Nedas Makštutis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Özvatan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nedas Makštutis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nedas Makštutis in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yakut Arıtan saved Sazlıdere FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedas Makštutis in the 44th minute of play forced Sazlıdere FC's goalkeeper Yakut Arıtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kadri Seha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Sazlıdere FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nedas Makštutis 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Türker Albay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakut Arıtan having to interfere. Adam Kaczanek kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When Türker Albay fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Özvatan JK's protests and gave Türker Albay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Özvatan JK's Türker Albay got a free kick in the 70th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Rıza Sertaçgil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sazlıdere FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rıza Sertaçgil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seyrani İnceman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yakut Arıtan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baykam Ergökmen went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Adam Kaczanek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sazlıdere FC's Yakut Arıtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedas Makštutis in the 89th minute of play. Baykam Ergökmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakut Arıtan having to interfere. Nedas Makštutis had several of the Sazlıdere FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Yakut Arıtan as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the final whistle sounded Özvatan JK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sazlıdere FC.
