The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Batur Yafes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selim Hazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güray Tokkan in the 6th minute of play forced DerinYar's goalkeeper Batur Yafes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Güray Tokkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selim Hazar took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batur Yafes. Batur Yafes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute Selim Hazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Yafes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edip Faydalı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mehmet Emre Hizanlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Erhan Erakıncı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edip Niğdeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of DerinYar booed when Hanönü SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet İlhan Bilek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The DerinYar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hanönü SK were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Güray Tokkan to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hanönü SK's Bayram Kandemir got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, DerinYar's Edip Faydalı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Emre Hizanlı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Suavi Sayfi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Emre Hizanlı having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, DerinYar's goalkeeper Batur Yafes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selim Hazar. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Batur Yafes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute of the match, Selim Hazar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Batur Yafes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 77 minutes into the match, DerinYar's goalkeeper Batur Yafes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selim Hazar. DerinYar's Batur Yafes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save DerinYar from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Selim Hazar made a precise shot to the right of Batur Yafes. DerinYar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 91 minutes into the game, Edip Faydalı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DerinYar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hanönü SK the free kick. After a rather tough play, DerinYar's Edip Faydalı got a free kick in the 91st minute. Hanönü SK's Güray Tokkan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The DerinYar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hanönü SK's performance. The match ended with a win for Hanönü SK.
