With his leg Tarkan Taşkan managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Akköy's Osman Ali Cambaz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tuncay Karginalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emrah Nesip in the 19th minute of play. Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.'s Tarkan Taşkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaptan Yiğiter in the 21st minute of play. Osman Ali Cambaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tarkan Taşkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osman Ali Cambaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osman Ali Cambaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Tarkan Taşkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Fazıl Hüsnü Bilginer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncay Karginalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tuncay Karginalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ecevit Hazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Ecevit Hazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ecevit Hazar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.'s Emrah Nesip got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emrah Nesip struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Tuncay Karginalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.. 56 minutes into the game, Emrah Nesip was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akköy the free kick. After 56 played minutes Yıldırım Spor A.Ş. got a freekick which was hit by Emrah Nesip. When Osman Ali Cambaz came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Akköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osman Ali Cambaz couldn't finish the play. Ecevit Hazar's late challenge caught a Akköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ecevit Hazar helped the player get up and apologised. 64 minutes into the match, Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kaptan Yiğiter came free, but Tarkan Taşkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fazıl Hüsnü Bilginer hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Tarkan Taşkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osman Ali Cambaz in the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.'s Cengizhan Cangiray got a free kick in the 69th minute. Kaptan Yiğiter hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.'s Ecevit Hazar in the 72nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tuncay Karginalp was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Akköy through an amazing save. If Osman Ali Cambaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarkan Taşkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alkan Bekiroğlu in the 83rd minute of play. When Akköy's Osman Ali Cambaz in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yıldırım Spor A.Ş.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute, Osman Ali Cambaz made a precise shot to the right of Tarkan Taşkan. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Osman Ali Cambaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Osman Ali Cambaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarkan Taşkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Akköy had won after a very even match.
