With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vefa Helvacıoğlu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olgun Gökkuşağı saved romanya SK from getting behind. After 15 minutes, Ahmet Kadri Bilgin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SELVİOGLUSPOR and the romanya SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SELVİOGLUSPOR's Ahmet Kadri Bilgin got a free kick in the 15th minute. romanya SK's Olgun Gökkuşağı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save romanya SK from getting a goal against them. Olgun Gökkuşağı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vefa Helvacıoğlu in the 20th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for romanya SK! The audience thought a goal was coming when Yakut Altın got free with Olgun Gökkuşağı in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Kutalp Acartürk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erman Üstündağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. romanya SK's Kutalp Acartürk got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yakut Altın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olgun Gökkuşağı having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vefa Helvacıoğlu in the 38th minute of play forced romanya SK's goalkeeper Olgun Gökkuşağı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yakut Altın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olgun Gökkuşağı was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vefa Helvacıoğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vefa Helvacıoğlu to make the kick off. In the 58th match minute, romanya SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadim Sadi to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes romanya SK got a freekick which was hit by Kadim Sadi. The audience was convinced that Vefa Helvacıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olgun Gökkuşağı was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Olgun Gökkuşağı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vefa Helvacıoğlu's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Batu Cem Nurettin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Kadim Sadi's late challenge caught a SELVİOGLUSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kadim Sadi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Kadim Sadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Gürcan Hedef shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for romanya SK's Olgun Gökkuşağı to catch but Gürcan Hedef was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. A collision led to SELVİOGLUSPOR getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vefa Helvacıoğlu hit a great ball. With a little luck, SELVİOGLUSPOR's Erman Üstündağ got control of the ball when Kutalp Acartürk tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Yakut Altın came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the SELVİOGLUSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yakut Altın couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, romanya SK's Batu Cem Nurettin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 81st minute Yakut Altın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgun Gökkuşağı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vefa Helvacıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 minutes of play, SELVİOGLUSPOR's Yakut Altın made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olgun Gökkuşağı was left in no man's land by his defense there! Yakut Altın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SELVİOGLUSPOR fully deserved thier win.
