But to his dismay, Rahim Nasuh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 51 minutes, Eralp Vecihi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the batmanspor and the chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. chelsea's Alper Nasreddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Şefik Orbay in the 75th minute of play. The throw-in from Haldun Remiz in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by batmanspor's Rahim Nasuh. If Mehmet Şefik Orbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute.
