An unexpectedly hard shot by Samet Yerlikaya in the 44th minute of play forced batmanspor's goalkeeper Vedat Onguner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to batmanspor getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eralp Vecihi hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match, Serbülent Şahsar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vedat Onguner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

In the 54th minute Samet Yerlikaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vedat Onguner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vedat Onguner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulvahit Türkoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Abdulvahit Türkoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Vedat Onguner. batmanspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.
