In the 9th minute, Yalçın Yastıkcığlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erman Deren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Işık Uçkan's late challenge caught a Gölbasi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ardahan Sungur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 28th minute, Fazlı Oksu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Işık Uçkan kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Oğuz Haylaz in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erman Deren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Levent Başdemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Oğuz Haylaz in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erman Deren saved BUCASPOR-Ersan from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
