In the 11th match minute, Tekkeköy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Macit Ağırtaş to maneuver through the defense. Tayfun Baloğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tekkeköy. Muharrem Akarsu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Batıkan Sözmen went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. With his leg Tayfun Baloğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Tekkeköy's Ahmet Bedri Eroğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tayfun Baloğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özkan Kabataş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 41 minutes, Özkan Kabataş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tekkeköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özkan Kabataş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Tekkeköy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Menderes were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özkan Kabataş to strike the kick off in the second half. Batıkan Sözmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Muharrem Akarsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Menderes booed when Tekkeköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ahmet Bedri Eroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Menderes's Tayfun Baloğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
