Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Berat Aytolun started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Igdir SK's Ahmet Hayri Okboğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berat Aytolun in the 4th minute of play. When Igdir SK's Mustafa Necati Kamver in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kocatepe's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Igdir SK's Ahmet Hayri Okboğa got control of the ball when Şaban Berksoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Kocatepe booed when Igdir SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cankut Emrettin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seçkin Enginsoy struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Esat Seri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igdir SK. Lütfü Akgüngör kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Berkin Demirdelen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esat Seri skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Şaban Berksoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Ahmet Hayri Okboğa however easily saved by the left post. When Berkin Demirdelen fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Igdir SK's protests and gave Berkin Demirdelen a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Igdir SK!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seçkin Enginsoy to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Vefik Uğursan during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lütfü Akgüngör hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Esat Seri was a little too slow when Mustafa Necati Kamver got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Mustafa Necati Kamver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esat Seri having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Seçkin Enginsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esat Seri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Kocatepe's Menderes Verim tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
