Bedirhan Koçaslan started the match with the kick off. If Umur Uygu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarp Benlioğlu made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ahmet Gündüz Bardakçıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Umur Uygu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sarp Benlioğlu having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Ozan Malkoç notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Eskisehir's Sarp Benlioğlu. Sarp Benlioğlu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ozan Malkoçs short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Sarp Benlioğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ozan Malkoç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sarp Benlioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Orhan Öksal kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of GalataW booed when Eskisehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökçen Uysal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarp Benlioğlu was a little too slow when Ozan Malkoç got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 3-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Orhan Öksal couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 42 in the game by Umur Uygu from a close distance when the talented Sarp Benlioğlu managed to make a qualified save. Eskisehir's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umur Uygu in the 47th minute of play forced Eskisehir's goalkeeper Sarp Benlioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarp Benlioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Orhan Öksal in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Umur Uygu was the one to do the kick off. The GalataW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umur Uygu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sarp Benlioğlu saved Eskisehir from getting behind. After having played for 74 minutes, Abdi Sururi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GalataW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdi Sururi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Eskisehir's zone, Abdi Sururi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sarp Benlioğlu came out of the goal and Abdi Sururi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Eskisehir's Bedirhan Koçaslan got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umur Uygu in the 86th minute of play forced Eskisehir's goalkeeper Sarp Benlioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Eskisehir defense, Umur Uygu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sarp Benlioğlu. The Eskisehir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sarp Benlioğlu should have stopped the shot. Sarp Benlioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umur Uygu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Abdi Sururi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GalataW's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
