Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mehmet Emin Belek got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Gökçen Uysal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eskisehir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mersin İdman Yurdu the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Eskisehir:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mersin İdman Yurdu:s goal. Eskisehir:s Sarp Benlioğlu showed great skill when he stopped Bahadır Hoyrat:s penalty. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Eskisehir's goalkeeper Sarp Benlioğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Mersin İdman Yurdu got a corner. Eskisehir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bahadır Hoyrat ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Mehmet Emin Belek got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 28 minutes into the match. Bedirhan Koçaslan charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedirhan Koçaslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Bedirhan Koçaslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mehmet Emin Belek came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Mersin İdman Yurdu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Emin Belek couldn't finish the play. Yavuz Andaç's late challenge caught a Mersin İdman Yurdu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yavuz Andaç helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Eskisehir got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Andaç. 43 minutes into the match, Mersin İdman Yurdu's Olgun Nusrettin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sarp Benlioğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Olgun Nusrettin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48thth minute of the game Olgun Nusrettin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskisehir's Sarp Benlioğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Mersin İdman Yurdu were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bedirhan Koçaslan to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Olgun Nusrettin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mersin İdman Yurdu's supporters rose to their feet, but Olgun Nusrettin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sarp Benlioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kamil Tecmil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vehdi Özge in the 54th minute of the match. Kamil Tecmil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mazhar Onatsu went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sarp Benlioğlu came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Mersin İdman Yurdu's Olgun Nusrettin. But to his dismay, Olgun Nusrettin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 70 minutes, Aktaç Ülgen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mersin İdman Yurdu and the Eskisehir players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Mersin İdman Yurdu got a freekick which was hit by Aktaç Ülgen. Vehdi Özge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamil Tecmil having to interfere. Kamil Tecmil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vehdi Özge in the 74th minute of the match. Eskisehir's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Mehmet Emin Belek scored to the left of an out of position Sarp Benlioğlu, making the score, 1-3. After some careless play in the Mersin İdman Yurdu defense, Bedirhan Koçaslan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kamil Tecmil. The Mersin İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kamil Tecmil should have stopped the shot. Vehdi Özge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kamil Tecmil having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Vehdi Özge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mazhar Onatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mehmet Emin Belek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mersin İdman Yurdu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
