When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mehmet Anıl Cevizoğlu sped through Beşiktaş's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samet Ayvazoğlu. Mehmet Anıl Cevizoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Anıl Cevizoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samet Ayvazoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Mehmet Anıl Cevizoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayazpasa's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Anıl Cevizoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samet Ayvazoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüseyin Rahmi Erzincanlı to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Samet Ayvazoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Anıl Cevizoğlu. Artun Toydemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdurrezzak Hürkan in the 37th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Rahmi Erzincanlı. A hard shot by Abdulaziz Ulaç from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Samet Ayvazoğlu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Feyyaz Güzir fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beşiktaş's protests and gave Feyyaz Güzir a yellow card for diving instead. Feyyaz Güzir hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Beşiktaş got a freekick which was hit by Hüseyin Rahmi Erzincanlı. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mehmet Anıl Cevizoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Hüseyin Rahmi Erzincanlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdurrezzak Hürkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artun Toydemir read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 78th minute Sungur Ateşoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samet Ayvazoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Abdurrezzak Hürkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Refik Halit Atasan scored 1-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Artun Toydemir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Günalp Erçetin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
