Savaş Süphan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tayyip Sabih in the 29th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bayrakli's Zaid Başdoğan got a free kick in the 30th minute. With his leg Savaş Süphan managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when artovaspor's Mehmet Hamdi Emek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Tayyip Sabih managed to get in a good position for a shot. artovaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Tayyip Sabih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Savaş Süphan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürol İltemiz in the 37th minute of play forced artovaspor's goalkeeper Ali Macit Avşar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bayrakli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Savaş Süphan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ertuğrul Ruhsat in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aybek Yuluğ to strike the kick off in the second half. Galip Akdeniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, artovaspor's Tayyip Sabih sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Savaş Süphan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertuğrul Ruhsat in the 64th minute of play forced Bayrakli's goalkeeper Savaş Süphan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Gürol İltemiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ali Macit Avşar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hulusi Okcun hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gürol İltemiz could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Ali Macit Avşar however easily saved by the left post. Gürol İltemiz in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ali Macit Avşar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zaid Başdoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Bayrakli's goal looked a bit too open when Tayyip Sabih came free, but Savaş Süphan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Yuluğ in the 92nd minute of play forced artovaspor's goalkeeper Ali Macit Avşar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 96 minutes of play, artovaspor's Hulusi Okcun made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Savaş Süphan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Bayrakli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bayrakli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
