The audience thought a goal was coming when Nichifor Buznea got free with Karadeniz Mengübay in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Çılgın Hamsi's Vahap Saatçi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Muhittin Boğatekin in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erkin Çiltay in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karadeniz Mengübay saved MOLDEM from getting behind. Gökhun Sarıcabay hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Vahap Saatçi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Oğuz Kudretullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, MOLDEM's goalkeeper Karadeniz Mengübay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Buznea. In the 22ndth minute of the game Erkin Çiltay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MOLDEM's Karadeniz Mengübay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, MOLDEM's goalkeeper Karadeniz Mengübay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nichifor Buznea. In the 28th minute, Nichifor Buznea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karadeniz Mengübay. The goal made the score 1-0. Karadeniz Mengübay made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Nichifor Buznea sent off a good shot on target. When Çılgın Hamsi's Erkin Çiltay in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MOLDEM's goalie prevented a goal. Erkin Çiltay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karadeniz Mengübay came out and tried to block the shot, but Erkin Çiltay slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erkin Çiltay was the one to do the kick off. Lemi Zafer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute Gökhun Sarıcabay suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 54 minutes, Şeref Sağıt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çılgın Hamsi and the MOLDEM players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Çılgın Hamsi getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Şeref Sağıt hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erkin Çiltay in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karadeniz Mengübay saved MOLDEM from getting behind. Karadeniz Mengübay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nichifor Buznea's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Mustafa Oğuz Kudretullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind MOLDEM's goalkeeper Karadeniz Mengübay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Nichifor Buznea came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Çılgın Hamsi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nichifor Buznea couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erkin Çiltay in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karadeniz Mengübay saved MOLDEM from getting behind. Karadeniz Mengübay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Buznea in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the game, Çılgın Hamsi's Erkin Çiltay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karadeniz Mengübay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkin Çiltay in the 92nd minute of play forced MOLDEM's goalkeeper Karadeniz Mengübay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Oğuz Kudretullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vahap Saatçi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Çılgın Hamsi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
