After 2 played minutes Anafartalar JK got a freekick which was hit by Atıf Taşer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kutlay Özbay during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alsancak booed when Anafartalar JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlay Özbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Alsancak's Ilie Lăcătuș ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gazanfer Çoğan. Gazanfer Çoğan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th minute Bilgehan Sefir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güral Talaykan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Güral Talaykan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bilgehan Sefir's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süruri Saltar in the 21st minute of play forced Anafartalar JK's goalkeeper Gazanfer Çoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutlay Özbay got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Anafartalar JK's Kutlay Özbay got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Anafartalar JK booed when Alsancak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caner Karabulut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yunus Kutlug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Talaykan having to interfere. Yunus Kutlug struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Güral Talaykan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anafartalar JK. Süruri Saltar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ilie Lăcătuș made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Anafartalar JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ilie Lăcătuș came free, but Gazanfer Çoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alsancak's Ahmet Danış Yalın suffered a fractured collar bone after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gazi Orgen charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gazi Orgen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alsancak's Arif Gaffar Ülkem was substituted for Ahmet Danış Yalın. Yunus Kutlug could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Güral Talaykan made a huge save. In the 65th match minute, Alsancak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Gaffar Ülkem to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Süruri Saltar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gazanfer Çoğan was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Gazi Orgen got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Anafartalar JK's Gazi Orgen got a free kick in the 70th minute. Gazanfer Çoğan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Süruri Saltar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Anafartalar JK's zone, Ilie Lăcătuș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gazanfer Çoğan came out of the goal and Ilie Lăcătuș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Alsancak players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
