Şener Kongar struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Kudret Uraltan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gökcebey. Ali Vedat Şennur's late challenge caught a Gökcebey's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Vedat Şennur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gökcebey booed when Cibali JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Vedat Şennur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kudret Uraltan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Şener Kongar. In the 11th minute Birsel Günsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelebi Canaydin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birsel Günsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Çelebi Canaydin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gündüz İmge in the 13th minute of play forced Gökcebey's goalkeeper Çelebi Canaydin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çelebi Canaydin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz İmge, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Ahmet Gündüz İmge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Çelebi Canaydin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Çelebi Canaydin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birsel Günsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çelebi Canaydin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birsel Günsel in the 28th minute of the match. Kudret Uraltan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şener Kongar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Çelebi Canaydin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz İmge in the 34th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Birsel Günsel was the one to do the kick off. Çelebi Canaydin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birsel Günsel in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Cibali JK booed when Gökcebey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şamil Ünsan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demirhan Ergüleç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ahmet Gündüz İmge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şener Kongar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Uraltan having to interfere. Kudret Uraltan came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gökcebey's Şener Kongar. But to his dismay, Şener Kongar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 78 minutes into the match, Şener Kongar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kudret Uraltan. Cibali JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şener Kongar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Şener Kongar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Uraltan having to interfere. Ahmet Bedri Boran kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Şener Kongar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kudret Uraltan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Şener Kongar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gökcebey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şener Kongar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gökcebey's Şener Kongar suffered a sore thigh after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 95 minutes, Anıl Arda Mertkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cibali JK and the Gökcebey players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cibali JK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Cibali JK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
