Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sarioglan's Feridun Başay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Çağlar Acarer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulaziz Olgunsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feridun Başay in the 5th minute of play. With his leg Ünsal Buminhan managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Saruhanli's Bulut Yıldırım fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saruhanli's Abdulaziz Olgunsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feridun Başay in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Saruhanli's Asım Arif Tatar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sarioglan's Feridun Başay got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdulaziz Olgunsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feridun Başay in the 24th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Saruhanli got a freekick which was hit by Orhan Seyfi Rikap. 27 minutes into the match, Sarioglan's goal looked a bit too open when Asım Arif Tatar came free, but Ünsal Buminhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Feridun Başay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bulut Yıldırıms short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Ünsal Buminhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Bulut Yıldırım got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 35 minutes into the match, Gürel Özkutay notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sarioglan's Ünsal Buminhan. Ünsal Buminhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sarioglan getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Feridun Başay hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Asım Arif Tatar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ünsal Buminhan, passed just outside the right post. Ünsal Buminhan made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Bulut Yıldırım sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asım Arif Tatar made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sarioglan's zone, Bulut Yıldırım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ünsal Buminhan came out of the goal and Bulut Yıldırım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Saruhanli's Mücahit Dural got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Saruhanli's zone, Feridun Başay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulaziz Olgunsoy came out of the goal and Feridun Başay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kerimhan Baltaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Abdulaziz Olgunsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Sarioglan's Sezai Sargın sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulaziz Olgunsoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Orhan Seyfi Rikap got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Sarioglan got a freekick which was hit by Recep Budak. Ünsal Buminhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asım Arif Tatar in the 71st minute of play. Bulut Yıldırım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ünsal Buminhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Baturhan Tuğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarioglan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saruhanli the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sarioglan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Saruhanli. Resulhan Atacan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ünsal Buminhan. 3-0. In the 84th minute, Asım Arif Tatar made a precise shot to the right of Ünsal Buminhan. Sarioglan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kerimhan Baltaş during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Sarioglan got a freekick which was hit by Kerimhan Baltaş. After a rather tough play, Sarioglan's Demiralp Naci got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Sarioglan's Ünsal Buminhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Asım Arif Tatar in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sarioglan defense, Asım Arif Tatar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ünsal Buminhan. The Sarioglan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ünsal Buminhan should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saruhanli fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarioglan had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
