After a defensive mix-up in Türkoglu's zone, Ahmet Çağrı Mensur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zülfikar Satıkbuğra came out of the goal and Ahmet Çağrı Mensur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Halim Yılkan made a kick off. In the 54th minute Arda Baybars Barlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zülfikar Satıkbuğra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Halim Yılkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Türkoglu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halim Yılkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Arda Baybars Barlas sped through Türkoglu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zülfikar Satıkbuğra. Bahri Barın made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Haşim Sertuğ sent off a good shot on target. Haşim Sertuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahri Barın having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Ali Emir İksir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fikirtepe and the Türkoglu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Halim Yılkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
