Muzaffer Alpman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aytek Sayar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahri Barın stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aytek Erdoğdu's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Çağrı Mensur got free with Muzaffer Alpman in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Çağrı Mensur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muzaffer Alpman having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe's goal looked a bit too open when Aytek Erdoğdu came free, but Bahri Barın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 played minutes Fikirtepe got a freekick which was hit by Yaman Oyhan. Fikirtepe's Bahri Barın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytek Sayar in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Fikirtepe booed when Pazaryolu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bilge Resulhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe's Arda Baybars Barlas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muzaffer Alpman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aytek Erdoğdu made a kick off. If Ahmet Çağrı Mensur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytek Sayar got free with Bahri Barın in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hüsrev Demirezen hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Arda Baybars Barlas struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Muzaffer Alpman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fikirtepe. In the 74th minute Arda Baybars Barlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Muzaffer Alpman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Aytek Erdoğdu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pazaryolu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aytek Erdoğdu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Aytek Sayar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aytek Sayar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahri Barın was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Aytek Erdoğdu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aytek Erdoğdu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Aytek Sayar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Bahri Barın skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Pazaryolu's Aytek Erdoğdu in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fikirtepe's goalie prevented a goal. The Fikirtepe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pazaryolu's performance. The match ended with a win for Pazaryolu.
