The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Altan Çavlı helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nisantasi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Nisantasi:s Batur Yalkın showed great skill when he stopped Aybar Perkel:s penalty. In the 6th minute, Espiye SK's Aybar Perkel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Batuğ Cansoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batur Yalkın having to interfere. The supporters of Espiye SK booed when Nisantasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güven Ongar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kılıçhan Develi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batur Yalkın having to interfere. Karhan Muhteşem scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nazil Olgaç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Batur Yalkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kılıçhan Develi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batuğ Cansoy in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batur Yalkın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute of the match, Kılıçhan Develi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Batur Yalkın saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Batur Yalkın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kılıçhan Develi in the 41st minute of the match. Mehmet Hakkı Hafız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Batur Yalkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Ceyhun Ersed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazil Olgaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Batuğ Cansoy might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batur Yalkın. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceyhun Ersed in the 62nd minute of play forced Espiye SK's goalkeeper Nazil Olgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kılıçhan Develi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Batuğ Cansoy struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Batur Yalkın didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espiye SK. After 72 minutes of play, Espiye SK's Kılıçhan Develi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Batur Yalkın was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, Nisantasi's goal looked a bit too open when Kılıçhan Develi came free, but Batur Yalkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Batur Yalkın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baybars Demirtuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kılıçhan Develi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Batur Yalkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batur Yalkın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kılıçhan Develi in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Nisantasi getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mustafa Emrah Bucuk hit a great ball. Kılıçhan Develi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
