In the 13th match minute, Kandira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özen Akil to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th match minute, Silifke SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaşar Nuri Tülek to maneuver through the defense. Silifke SK's Arif Egemen Hirfet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ertunç Cuma in the 18th minute of play. Arif Egemen Hirfet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rüstem Ecemiş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kandira's Ziya Akyıldız got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arif Egemen Hirfet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüstem Ecemiş in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüstem Ecemiş in the 42nd minute of play forced Silifke SK's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Hirfet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ertunç Cuma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Egemen Hirfet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rüstem Ecemiş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Egemen Hirfet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rüstem Ecemiş went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ertunç Cuma to make the kick off. Arcan Özsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atak Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Atak Şah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silifke SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atak Şah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rüstem Ecemiş got free with Arif Egemen Hirfet in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arcan Özsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atak Şah in the 79th minute of play. Fatih Pekinturk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arcan Özsu having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Ertunç Cuma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arif Egemen Hirfet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ertunç Cuma might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Egemen Hirfet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ertunç Cuma ran back to his position shaking his head. Rüstem Ecemiş struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Arif Egemen Hirfet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kandira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atak Şah in the 96th minute of play forced Kandira's goalkeeper Arcan Özsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ertunç Cuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 98th minute, Zekai Ünverdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 100th minute Ertunç Cuma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Egemen Hirfet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
