Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sami Behzat started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Polatli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kutay Kantara to maneuver through the defense. Bedri Uğurcan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aktan İlsu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullatif Yazgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Polatli's Aktan İlsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullatif Yazgan in the 9th minute of play. Hami Aktay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamdullah Toktuğ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Behzat in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Polatli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahri Bilgiç to maneuver through the defense. Hami Aktay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Aktan İlsu made a huge save. Hami Aktay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aktan İlsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Polatli's Aktan İlsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdullatif Yazgan in the 29th minute of play. Batu Cem Şenbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Hamdullah Toktuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hami Aktay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuzalp Yanaç kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Polatli's goal looked a bit too open when Abdullatif Yazgan came free, but Aktan İlsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AKYIL's Hami Aktay got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şemsettin Cebe during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Şemsettin Cebe kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdullatif Yazgan to make the kick off. Aktan İlsu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hami Aktay in the 59th minute of play. Hamdullah Toktuğ made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batu Cem Şenbay in the 61st minute. Hamdullah Toktuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Behzat, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes, AKYIL's Onurhan Hünkar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aktan İlsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AKYIL reached it. In the 74th minute Hami Aktay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktan İlsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Polatli getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Oğuzalp Yanaç hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Abdullatif Yazgan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKYIL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. AKYIL's Hamdullah Toktuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şemsettin Cebe in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Sami Behzat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamdullah Toktuğ. Sami Behzat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Hami Aktay managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKYIL's supporters rose to their feet, but Hami Aktay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aktan İlsu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdullatif Yazgan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Aktan İlsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKYIL. The Polatli supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Polatli would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
