Devran Haliloğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, DeLi Yıldız's goal looked a bit too open when Suat Tuğaltay came free, but Metin Hafız reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Devran Haliloğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Suat Tuğaltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sinan Köker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Sariveliler booed when DeLi Yıldız was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batu Bayrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sariveliler's goalkeeper Hayri Gündoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Devran Haliloğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sariveliler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devran Haliloğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Güney Sarper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sinan Köker struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Hayri Gündoğan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DeLi Yıldız. In the 89th minute, Sariveliler's Suat Tuğaltay dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Batu Bayrak hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Uluç Kabadayı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Metin Hafız showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
