Kubat Bürge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batu Bayrak in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Levent Evcimen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kubat Bürge skillfully saved the ball. In the 18th minute, Batu Bayrak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kubat Bürge was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Güney Sarper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubat Bürge having to interfere. When Reha Safi fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiziltoprak's protests and gave Reha Safi a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Kiziltoprak got a freekick which was hit by Reha Safi. In the 29th minute, Rıza Canel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DeLi Yıldız's Mehmet Hakkı Olcaytug got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubat Cangur in the 37th minute of play forced DeLi Yıldız's goalkeeper Metin Hafız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kubat Cangur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Kiziltoprak's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in DeLi Yıldız's zone, Kubat Cangur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Metin Hafız came out of the goal and Kubat Cangur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kubat Bürge didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Güner Kamver went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Kubat Cangur made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in DeLi Yıldız's zone, Ediz Taykoç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Metin Hafız came out of the goal and Ediz Taykoç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Metin Hafız showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediz Taykoç in the 57th minute of the match. Ahmet Bülent Topay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Metin Hafız tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metin Hafız stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kubat Cangur's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 73rd minute, DeLi Yıldız's Mehmet Hakkı Olcaytug seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mehmet Hakkı Olcaytug the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of DeLi Yıldız protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mehmet Hakkı Olcaytug had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 73 minutes into the game, one of DeLi Yıldız:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Şehzade Canfeda's late challenge caught a Kiziltoprak's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şehzade Canfeda helped the player get up and apologised. Şehzade Canfeda kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubat Cangur in the 82nd minute of play forced DeLi Yıldız's goalkeeper Metin Hafız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kubat Cangur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Metin Hafız tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metin Hafız made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bülent Topay in the 88th minute of play. If Kubat Cangur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hazım Tangun kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 97 played minutes DeLi Yıldız got a freekick which was hit by Levent Evcimen. When the final whistle went the supporters of DeLi Yıldız were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Kiziltoprak side.
