Ahmet Sarphan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Çeliker Tolay firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ahmet Sarphan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Çeliker Tolay made a huge save. With a little luck, sorgunspor's Çeliker Tolay got control of the ball when Ahmet Sarphan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andaç Yaltırak ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute, Andaç Yaltırak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Güner Cihangir came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the sorgunspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güner Cihangir couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in sorgunspor's zone, Ahmet Sarphan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Çeliker Tolay came out of the goal and Ahmet Sarphan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. sorgunspor's Çeliker Tolay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save sorgunspor from getting a goal against them. Görkem Altıncığlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andaç Yaltırak in the 39th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Güner Cihangir managed to get in a good position for a shot. sorgunspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Güner Cihangir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Görkem Altıncığlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Kepez FK's Hakan Özpolat got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 47th minute, Andaç Yaltırak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Görkem Altıncığlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Andaç Yaltırak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Görkem Altıncığlu having to make a save. Güner Cihangir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Görkem Altıncığlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andaç Yaltırak got free with Görkem Altıncığlu in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ahmet Sarphan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Görkem Altıncığlu was a little too slow when Andaç Yaltırak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-2. Görkem Altıncığlu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when sorgunspor's Andaç Yaltırak shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Görkem Altıncığlu was a little too slow when Andaç Yaltırak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-4. After 85 played minutes, sorgunspor's Zülfü Kudsi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Görkem Altıncığlu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in sorgunspor reached it. With his leg Görkem Altıncığlu managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when sorgunspor's Andaç Yaltırak fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Berke Kutan lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 97th minute, one of sorgunspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for sorgunspor. When the final whistle sounded sorgunspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kepez FK.
