After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Güney Azim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlas United's supporters rose to their feet, but Güney Azim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baha Borlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aycan Urkan took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baha Borlu. Baha Borlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Atlas United's goalkeeper Baykam Saadettin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şemsettin Hendekli. Kutlualp Ural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykam Saadettin having to interfere. In the 19th minute of the match Çakabey Zakir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baykam Saadettin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Mustafa Hamit Dalan could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Baykam Saadettin however easily saved by the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Kutlualp Ural had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baykam Saadettin. Atlas United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kutlualp Ural was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
