When Halil Can Honazlı fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ekinözü's protests and gave Halil Can Honazlı a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ekinözü getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Halil Can Honazlı hit a great ball. Ekinözü's Günay Buyruk got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikail Elmacı kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ekinözü's Saffet Kaya tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Asım Hürol in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baykam Taylak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ekinözü's Saip Talaykan got a free kick in the 15th minute. A hard shot 20 in the game by Alişan Kunt from a close distance when the talented Doğuhan Saygur managed to make a qualified save. Efe Spor's players were relieved. Halil Can Honazlı was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Halil Can Honazlı hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ekinözü's Günay Buyruk got a free kick in the 25th minute. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Ahmet Efe Deryace put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Baykam Taylak. In the 32nd minute Ahmet Efe Deryace shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykam Taylak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alişan Kunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes of play, Ekinözü's Alişan Kunt made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doğuhan Saygur was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Alişan Kunt came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ekinözü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alişan Kunt couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
In the 52nd minute, Alişan Kunt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doğuhan Saygur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Baykam Taylak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Asım Hürol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efe Spor's Doğuhan Saygur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saip Talaykan in the 59th minute of play. If Alişan Kunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alişan Kunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Doğuhan Saygur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Efe Spor booed when Ekinözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zülfikar Pirane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alişan Kunt scored 4-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doğuhan Saygur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alişan Kunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saip Talaykan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Doğuhan Saygur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekinözü. When Ekinözü's Alişan Kunt in 86 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Doğuhan Saygur guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 90th minute, Günay Buyruk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alişan Kunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baykam Taylak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Asım Hürol's shot from short distance in the 94th minute.
