Mehmet Akif İpekçi made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Ali Baran Gurbet sent off a good shot on target. Mehmet Akif İpekçi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyhun Tekcan in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Kara Kartal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Behzat Baltacı to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 38 minutes, Seyhun Tekcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HB ARENA KONYA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seyhun Tekcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seyhun Tekcan in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Seyhun Tekcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Seyhun Tekcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Seyhun Tekcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Akif İpekçi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The HB ARENA KONYA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kara Kartal's performance. The match ended with a win for Kara Kartal.
