The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Özer Dursunali could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Afşar Dokuzoğlu however easily saved by the left post. The corner led Gümüşhane's Gürkan Oğuztüzün to fire away a dangerous shot which Afşar Dokuzoğlu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th minute, Uluç Hececi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gümüşhane's Nejat Alp Akad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hulusi Koytak in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Mustafa Haydar Demiroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nejat Alp Akad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 25 minutes in the game Bozkurt Ahsen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gökhun Özdoruk. CANYAKAN SPK's Afşar Dokuzoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save CANYAKAN SPK from getting a goal against them. Uluç Hececi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afşar Dokuzoğlu having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Gökalp Kalender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gümüşhane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gökalp Kalender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CANYAKAN SPK's Afşar Dokuzoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save CANYAKAN SPK from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Gümüşhane's Gökalp Kalender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afşar Dokuzoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, Gümüşhane's Gökalp Kalender made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afşar Dokuzoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gökalp Kalender made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Uluç Hececi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gümüşhane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uluç Hececi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Özer Dursunali had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uluç Hececi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulusi Koytak got free with Nejat Alp Akad in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nejat Alp Akad made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when İshak Kebir sent off a good shot on target. Gökalp Kalender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Gökalp Kalender who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CANYAKAN SPK's Afşar Dokuzoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Afşar Dokuzoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökalp Kalender, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Gümüşhane's Uluç Hececi got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Gümüşhane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uluç Hececi to maneuver through the defense. When Gümüşhane's Gökalp Kalender in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CANYAKAN SPK's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Uluç Hececi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gümüşhane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uluç Hececi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gökalp Kalender managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gümüşhane's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökalp Kalender was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afşar Dokuzoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İshak Kebir hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of CANYAKAN SPK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gümüşhane side.
