In the 21st minute of the match Cumhur Oyhan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tahsin Ulusan skillfully saved the ball. KAHRAMAN FC's Tahsin Ulusan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sancarbey Koral in the 22nd minute of play. Bornova SK's Rüknettin Masum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Bornova SK from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gencalp Yafes to strike the kick off in the second half.
