In the 11th minute Enes Aydoğdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediz Bilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Şefik Baroğlu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 37th playminute. 43 minutes into the match, Bitlis's goal looked a bit too open when Aşkın Erem came free, but Ediz Bilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediz Bilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enes Aydoğdu, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mehmet Akif Rafetoğulları hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Sancarbey Akkoç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enes Aydoğdu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ediz Bilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70thth minute of the game Enes Aydoğdu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bitlis's Ediz Bilen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bitlis's Ediz Bilen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Bitlis from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Şefik Baroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ediz Bilen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rüknettin Ünsevin struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Bektaş Adalıoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bitlis. 99 minutes into the match, Crystal Palace's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Şefik Baroğlu came free, but Bektaş Adalıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
