Cugubugule FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yavuz Bülent Nebi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ediz Bilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 5 in the game by Yavuz Bülent Nebi from a close distance when the talented Ediz Bilen managed to make a qualified save. Bitlis's players were relieved. Yavuz Bülent Nebi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Cugubugule FK booed when Bitlis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüknettin Ünsevin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ediz Bilen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bilal Iğdırlı's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Bilal Iğdırlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ediz Bilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Şefik Baroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 30 minutes, Seyit Enginsoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bitlis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Seyit Enginsoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Yavuz Bülent Nebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilal Iğdırlı in the 33rd minute of play forced Bitlis's goalkeeper Ediz Bilen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bitlis getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Sancarbey Akkoç hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bitlis's zone, Yavuz Bülent Nebi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ediz Bilen came out of the goal and Yavuz Bülent Nebi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Şefik Baroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yavuz Bülent Nebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Bilal Iğdırlı got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 46 minutes into the match, Bitlis's goalkeeper Ediz Bilen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yavuz Bülent Nebi. Ediz Bilen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yavuz Bülent Nebi in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Seyit Enginsoy made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Ataman Şener put in a rough tackle. 59 minutes into the game, Bilal Iğdırlı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ediz Bilen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 played minutes Cugubugule FK got a freekick which was hit by Yüksel Evcimen. Bilal Iğdırlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yüksel Evcimen's late challenge caught a Bitlis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yüksel Evcimen helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Cugubugule FK got a freekick which was hit by Yüksel Evcimen. Yavuz Bülent Nebi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ediz Bilen having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, Bitlis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derya İlbey to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bitlis's zone, Yavuz Bülent Nebi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ediz Bilen came out of the goal and Yavuz Bülent Nebi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ediz Bilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Nebi in the 93rd minute of play. Bitlis's Mehmet Şefik Baroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cugubugule FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bitlis had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
