After a rather tough play, Savsat FK's Hasan Birdal got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Savsat FK's Alemdar Gökyüzü got control of the ball when Hıncal Soysaldı tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celil Oğuzbala during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Savsat FK's Celil Oğuzbala got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th match minute, Savsat FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celil Oğuzbala to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fikirtepe's zone, Arif Memduh Yura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fikret Taşkın came out of the goal and Arif Memduh Yura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fikirtepe's Fikret Taşkın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Memduh Yura in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Fikirtepe defense, Arif Memduh Yura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fikret Taşkın. The Fikirtepe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fikret Taşkın should have stopped the shot. If Timur İhya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Memduh Yura hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fikirtepe's zone, Gafur Şahabeddin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fikret Taşkın came out of the goal and Gafur Şahabeddin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Hıncal Soysaldı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alemdar Gökyüzü having to interfere. When Abdulmelik Neşat fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fikirtepe's protests and gave Abdulmelik Neşat a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fikirtepe! Mehmet Edip Ergenç hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Arif Memduh Yuras short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Fikret Taşkın to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 71st match minute, Fikirtepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şenel Tuğsan to maneuver through the defense. Savsat FK's Gafur Şahabeddin got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Ali Behzat Sorgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Gafur Şahabeddin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fikret Taşkın, 0-4. Arif Memduh Yura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Fikret Taşkın made a huge save. In the 88thth minute of the game Hıncal Soysaldı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Savsat FK's Alemdar Gökyüzü was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fikirtepe's Fikret Taşkın proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Fikirtepe from getting a goal against them. The Fikirtepe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Savsat FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Savsat FK.
