Joaquim Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lefter Tümkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ünsal İncili in the 6th minute of the match. If Sarp Uluçkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hakkı Onur Bağcı fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asas JK's protests and gave Hakkı Onur Bağcı a yellow card for diving instead. Hakkı Onur Bağcı hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Halit Özay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Marciano Lluc hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Emrah Adıgün blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halit Özay having to make a save. 23 minutes into the match, Asas JK's goalkeeper Halit Özay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emrah Adıgün. Halit Özay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommie Van den Brul, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Aziz Yıldırım's goal looked a bit too open when Sarp Uluçkan came free, but Lefter Tümkut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emrah Adıgün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquim Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Asas JK got a freekick which was hit by Ali Cengiz Özek. Asas JK's Halit Özay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommie Van den Brul in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tommie Van den Brul made the kick off in the second half. Lefter Tümkut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sarp Uluçkan in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hacı Yusuf during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Aziz Yıldırım was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hacı Yusuf to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Abdulaziz Şendoğan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asas JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aziz Yıldırım the free kick. Emrah Adıgün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Özay having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Asas JK's zone, Emrah Adıgün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halit Özay came out of the goal and Emrah Adıgün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the game, Joaquim Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Halit Özay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 80 minutes, Joaquim Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aziz Yıldırım's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Aziz Yıldırım's Lefter Tümkut got control of the ball when Sarp Uluçkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emrah Adıgün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Joaquim Borges made a precise shot to the right of Halit Özay. Asas JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0.
