After 23 played minutes Kurtulus JK got a freekick which was hit by Mikail Ilgaz. After recieving a nice pass, Yüregir JK's Nedim Uçhan tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Kurtulus JK's Güntekin Kırdar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Cüneyd Karakan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yüregir JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cüneyd Karakan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Güntekin Kırdar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Bedih Çağaçar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cüneyd Karakan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halit Ziya Sanat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play.

Kurtulus JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Cüneyd Karakan scored to the left of an out of position Halit Ziya Sanat, making the score, 1-1. If Güntekin Kırdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güntekin Kırdar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 63 minutes, Güntekin Kırdar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurtulus JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Güntekin Kırdar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Güntekin Kırdar came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Kurtulus JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güntekin Kırdar couldn't finish the play. Güntekin Kırdar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafettin Cezar charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafettin Cezar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Yüregir JK got a freekick which was hit by Rafettin Cezar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Hakan Apaydın got free with Halit Ziya Sanat in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Yüregir JK booed when Kurtulus JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikail Ilgaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cüneyd Karakan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halit Ziya Sanat having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Hakan Apaydın got free with Halit Ziya Sanat in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cüneyd Karakan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Hakan Apaydın took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Halit Ziya Sanat. Halit Ziya Sanat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
