Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Devran Yaban took the kick off in the first half of the match. Devran Yaban who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Yağızalp Savtur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 9th match minute, Moda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acun Ağaverdi to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Karsiyaka booed when Moda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duran Toygun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Karsiyaka's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Papadima came free, but Şadi Erçetin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tahsin Ortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Şadi Erçetin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Tayyar Özgurcan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yağızalp Savtur. The goal made the score 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Moda's goal looked a bit too open when Devran Yaban came free, but Yağızalp Savtur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Tayyar Özgurcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Savtur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Devran Yaban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Yağızalp Savtur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moda's Yağızalp Savtur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayyar Özgurcan in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Karsiyaka got a freekick which was hit by Müfit Şemsifer. If Tayyar Özgurcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosmin Papadima was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Devran Yaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Savtur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Seyit Birdal came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Karsiyaka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyit Birdal couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Namık Kemal Felek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Müfit Şemsifer kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Tahsin Ortun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şener Polatalp during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karsiyaka getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Şener Polatalp hit a great ball. Devran Yaban might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yağızalp Savtur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Devran Yaban ran back to his position shaking his head. Moda's Yağızalp Savtur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Namık Kemal Felek in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Karsiyaka getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Müfit Şemsifer hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Karsiyaka's Namık Kemal Felek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yağızalp Savtur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Devran Yaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Tayyar Özgurcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Savtur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Karsiyaka could leave the field as winners, despite Moda having more of the ball for most of the match.
