Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cirilo Ferrer started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Serdar Talu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Fikirtepe defense, Tunç> Kaim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rıdvan Alpaslan. The Fikirtepe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rıdvan Alpaslan should have stopped the shot. After 15 played minutes Cirilo Ferrer rounded Fikirtepe's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fikirtepe's goalkeeper Rıdvan Alpaslan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. kaya Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuhan Sayılgan in the 21st minute of play. Mehmet Ferit Aktemur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cirilo Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rıdvan Alpaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rıdvan Alpaslan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Ferit Aktemur in the 30th minute. kaya Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğuhan Sayılgan in the 31st minute of play. Cirilo Ferrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıdvan Alpaslan having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Fikirtepe's goalkeeper Rıdvan Alpaslan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Ferit Aktemur. Mehmet Ferit Aktemur came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rıdvan Alpaslan could save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Suphi Çağakan to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Rüştü Köken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fikirtepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gürsu FK the free kick. After 51 played minutes Fikirtepe got a freekick which was hit by Rüştü Köken. 54 minutes into the match, Gürsu FK's Mehmet Ferit Aktemur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rıdvan Alpaslan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mehmet Ferit Aktemur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rıdvan Alpaslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ferit Aktemur in the 60th minute of play forced Fikirtepe's goalkeeper Rıdvan Alpaslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğuhan Sayılgan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but kaya Akatay firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mehmet Ferit Aktemur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes Fikirtepe got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Bilge Cemşit. Rıdvan Alpaslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Ferrer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Ferit Aktemur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıdvan Alpaslan having to interfere. Rıdvan Alpaslan came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Gürsu FK's Mehmet Ferit Aktemur. But to his dismay, Mehmet Ferit Aktemur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Mehmet Ferit Aktemur came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Gürsu FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mehmet Ferit Aktemur couldn't finish the play. Rıdvan Alpaslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Ferit Aktemur in the 90th minute of the match. Tunç> Kaim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rıdvan Alpaslan having to interfere.
