Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cavit Varlık started the match with the kick off. The Siirt FK fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Siirt FK's Cavit Varlık looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 13 played minutes, Siirt FK's Bedri Rikap shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aytek Aşkın came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Siirt FK reached it. In the 15th minute Cavit Varlık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aytek Aşkın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hulusi Gülerce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Siirt FK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Çakır Kemal hit a great ball. Hulusi Gülerce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reşat Şahsuvaroğlu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cavit Varlık in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aytek Aşkın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cavit Varlık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe SK's Sercan Bilgiç got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the game, Cavit Varlık cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aytek Aşkın was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hulusi Gülerce made a kick off. If Cavit Varlık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 55th play minutes Orbay Sakman shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Aytek Aşkın and just under the crossbar into goal. Cavit Varlık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytek Aşkın having to interfere. Cavit Varlık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Orbay Sakman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siirt FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orbay Sakman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siirt FK's Orbay Sakman was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Hulusi Gülerce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fenerbahçe SK's Aytek Aşkın played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cavit Varlık in the 76th minute of play. Bedri Rikap was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, one of Siirt FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Orbay Sakman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Aytek Aşkın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 95 minutes, Orbay Sakman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siirt FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orbay Sakman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
