The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Onur Mustafali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Gökcebey FK's Aral Korcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Mustafali in the 4th minute of play. Baturhan Nedim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Aral Korcan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kenan Baysungur charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenan Baysungur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. memioğlu spor a.ş's Uygur Veysel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teoman Özakan in the 12th minute of play. Aral Korcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Mustafali in the 15th minute of play. Uygur Veysel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cem Toygar went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as memioğlu spor a.ş's Onur Mustafali slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aral Korcan. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. With a little luck, Gökcebey FK's Aral Korcan got control of the ball when Baturhan Nedim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gökcebey FK's Ahmet Ali Sulhi got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Baturhan Nedim notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Gökcebey FK's Aral Korcan. Aral Korcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Gökcebey FK getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ahmet Ali Sulhi hit a great ball. Uygur Veysel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cem Toygar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teoman Özakan in the 37th minute of play forced memioğlu spor a.ş's goalkeeper Uygur Veysel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, memioğlu spor a.ş's Onur Mustafali got a free kick in the 40th minute. Baturhan Nedim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aral Korcan was a little too slow when Onur Mustafali got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Onur Mustafali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. memioğlu spor a.ş's Uygur Veysel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teoman Özakan in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teoman Özakan in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uygur Veysel saved memioğlu spor a.ş from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Onur Mustafali ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aral Korcan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Teoman Özakan struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Uygur Veysel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gökcebey FK. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cem Toygar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Onur Mustafali might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aral Korcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Onur Mustafali ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of memioğlu spor a.ş booed when Gökcebey FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ali Sulhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baturhan Nedim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The memioğlu spor a.ş fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gökcebey FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
