Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahmet Reha Ihlamur got the match started through his kick off. İslam Felek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nurettin Korkutalp went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 7 minutes into the match, Redower's goalkeeper Rasim Demirbaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kadri Altıncığlu. Kadri Altıncığlu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Nurettin Korkutalp came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Redower fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nurettin Korkutalp couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Yalazay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute Güralp Satuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İslam Felek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kadri Altıncığlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rasim Demirbaş. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kadri Altıncığlu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute, Güralp Satuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İslam Felek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ahmet Reha Ihlamur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasim Demirbaş having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Bahadırhan İçkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Redower's goalkeeper Rasim Demirbaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kadri Altıncığlu. Ahmet Reha Ihlamur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Reha Ihlamur in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rasim Demirbaş saved Redower from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güralp Satuk to make the kick off. Rasim Demirbaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kadri Altıncığlu in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Halil Utku Ramazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afyon's Kadri Altıncığlu got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Afyon booed when Redower was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enis Kayıboylu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kadri Altıncığlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rasim Demirbaş having to make a save. Ahmet Reha Ihlamur struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rasim Demirbaş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Afyon. When Vedat Köker fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redower's protests and gave Vedat Köker a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Redower fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Kahraman Ünalp shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Ahmet Reha Ihlamur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rasim Demirbaş having to make a save. In the 81st minute of the match Kahraman Ünalp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rasim Demirbaş skillfully saved the ball. When Ahmet Reha Ihlamur came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Afyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Reha Ihlamur couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute Kadri Altıncığlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasim Demirbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Mehmet Hakyemez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redower's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Afyon the free kick. In the 87th minute, Mehmet Hakyemez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kadri Altıncığlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kadri Altıncığlu in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rasim Demirbaş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ahmet Reha Ihlamur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasim Demirbaş having to interfere. If Kadri Altıncığlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Afyon lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
