Yavuz Bülent Tuğcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedat Tercan in the 63rd minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Ahmet İlhan Öztaş elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 74th minute Vedat Tercan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Bülent Tuğcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakan Timuroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bilgehan Oktay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Köprüköy got a freekick which was hit by Tansel Uçman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakan Timuroz in the 84th minute of play forced Köprüköy's goalkeeper Bilgehan Oktay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vedat Tercan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Köprüköy had won after a very even match.
