In the 17th match minute, Cakabey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadettin Nadir to maneuver through the defense. Ferhan Toker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şensoy Şanberk having to interfere. Sacit Ercan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hakkı Onur Uzalp made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Cay's goalkeeper Batıkan Öksüzoğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hakkı Onur Uzalp. Cakabey's Sadettin Nadir suffered a concussion in the 70th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 71st match minute, Cay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökmen Guftar to maneuver through the defense. Günay Dilşah charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Günay Dilşah the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Günay Dilşah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cakabey's goalkeeper Şensoy Şanberk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cakabey's zone, Ferhan Toker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şensoy Şanberk came out of the goal and Ferhan Toker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şensoy Şanberk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferhan Toker's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Abdurrahman Reca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Şensoy Şanberk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhan Toker in the 98th minute of play.
